THREE PILLARS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH

1. Prayer (Heaven’s Panic Button)

Prayer is an important part of a healthy church because it lets people talk to God and seek for His help. It involves more than just making requests, it also involves seeking guidance, expressing appreciation, and developing a deeper connection with God. Prayer, as Pastor Ndlovu referred to as "Heaven's panic button", may be a very effective tool in times of need, providing comfort and strength.

Having "heaven's panic button"(prayer) is a wonderful gift, knowing that we can run to God in any situation, and He will be there for us. It's a reminder that we're not alone, and that God is always available to listen to us and be our refuge.

~ Psalm 46:1-2 : “God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So, we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the ocean depths.”

2. Fellowship (Strength in Unity)

In Acts 2, we see how the early church shared their lives, emotions, and resources. They devoted themselves to one another, worshipped together, and lived as one.

Just like iron sharpens iron, fellowship strengthens us (Proverbs 27:17)

3. Apostolic Teaching

Acts 2:42 says, “And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” The apostles, as witnesses of Christ’s life and resurrection, laid the foundation for the believers' faith.

A church that grows in the Word will stand strong through trials, remaining anchored in truth. Biblical teaching gives meaning to our purpose and mission.
