Mr Thulani Mabena

BIOGRAPHY

Thulani started signing at church from a young age and was the youngest member of the worship team. Inspired and mentored by his brother Zakhele, he learned how to play piano early on and began playing at church.

His love for music led him to work with reowned gospel artists such as Tebs David, Solly Mahlangu, Benjamin Dube, MMatema, OnceMore, Ps Lungi Ndala, Takie Ndou, Rofhiwa, Zaza, Lufuno Dagada, Nothando Hlophe, and Busi Radebe. He has also shared the stage with international artists such as Marvin Sapp, Donnie McCLurkin, Fred Hammond, Isreal Houghton, Bryron Cage and Juanita Bynum.

He has travelled to Kenya , Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the UK, ministering through gospel music. He was also selected to perform at the South African Presidential Inauguration.

Currently,he is the music director for the award-nominated musical "LIFTED:Let the Blind Sing" and he also conducts vocal lessons and worship team workshops to promote excellence in gospel music.

Thulani Mabena is married to Promise Mgidi and they have a beautiful daughter named Nozintle. He has released an album titled "IHubo Lemvuselelo" and he is working on a new EP.
